Meals Ministry Through a team of wonderful volunteers, we provide meals to church members in times of need.
The meals ministry is an excellent way to meet other people from church and make a difference in someone's life, with a minimal time commitment. Meals DO NOT have to be homemade. In situations such as these, it is definitely "the thought that counts." The purpose is to help someone in need by providing a helping hand in meal preparation, not to dazzle anyone with your culinary skills. In times of need, a friendly face and a meal is a true gift. |

Focus: Home GroupTime: Saturdays, 9-10:30 a.m. Locations: Winnetonka Area Description: This is an on going support group which places a radical emphasis on satisfying your soul in Christ. We stress the need to repent of overeating and/or any other sinful eating habits. The emphasis is not on losing weight, but rather on consuming Christ and developing biblical discipline in the area of eating. Accountability is a must for this group, the four areas to be accountable will be: spending time with the Lord, exercise and discipline in eating. Additionally there is a workbook to be done outside of the group but we will reflect upon during group. This group is not about a number on a scale, or a jean size, though being obedient to the Lord will make these things happen, but a journey to intimacy with Christ and having Him satisfy all our needs.
